At The Tunjung Boutique Resort, we invite foreign participants to a cooking contest. The Balinese Cooking Contest, which presents the wonders of Balinese cuisine, is the theme of this event. We proudly introduce Team Rockwool, a group of eight extraordinary individuals. The teams consist of Teams A, B, C, and D. In this case, each team will create an appetizer, main course, and dessert featuring Balinese culinary delights. Participants will receive guidance on how to cook.

This cooking competition consists of several stages. First, the Jukut Urab appetizer, then Sate Lilit as the main dish. In this case, we provide a plant-based version of Sate Lilit for vegan participants. Finally, participants made sweet Dadar Rolls as dessert. This competition showcases participants’ skills, teamwork, and innovation to create Balinese cuisine. At the end of the event, the team’s cooking will be judged based on the dish’s presentation, cooking speed, and taste. The competition results were Team C as 1st place, Team A as 2nd place, Team B as 3rd place, and finally Team D.

Next, participants enjoyed a unique lunch at Warung Puri Boga with Rijsttafel-style. The concept of this lunch, with various dishes on small plates, gives guests lots of choices. Guests enjoyed a delicious local Balinese lunch featuring the richness of Balinese tapestries. Apart from that, we also provide a menu for vegan participants. Lunch with a typical Balinese menu is one way to increase participants’ culinary knowledge of the Balinese menu. We care about the participants’ comfort, so we will do anything for them as long as it is within our capabilities.

The Tunjung Boutique Resort’s Staff Gears Up for an Exciting Cooking Class Competition

The Cooking Class Competition is an exciting event for groups with cooking challenges according to recipes. An event, whether it’s a big event or a small event, requires careful preparation to carry it out. Why is it necessary to prepare? We prepare to prevent unwanted things that lead to an event’s failure. All parties involved in the event must participate in the preparations made for the success of the event. Officers or staff, appointed based on their abilities and skills, are involved with all parties. Preparation is the primary and most crucial thing before carrying out an event.

The Tunjung Boutique Resort is doing the same in preparing for the Cooking Class Competition event on April 22, 2023. This time, the Tunjung Boutique Resort is organizing a cooking class event. The cooking class event is a cooking competition for Balinese specialities. We will divide the participants into several groups. Each group will compete to make delicious Balinese food, and the group that gets the most points will be the winner.

Preparations by The Tunjung Boutique Resort began by checking the event’s location. We will need these tools for the event and for giving directions to the staff involved in this cooking class competition. Rimba Lawn By Ayana will host the cooking class competition with 42 participants.

Preparation For the Cooking Class Competition

After checking the location and preparing the necessary tools, it is complete. The next step is to brief the staff about the Cooking Class Competition. The briefing on the Cooking Class Competition event includes procedures for using good kitchen tools. It also includes communicating appropriately with participants and the staff’s duties during the event. On the other hand, the manager gives directions regarding skills and tasks. This briefing also motivates them to be more enthusiastic about the activities later. The staff involved will become facilitators for the participants so that they can master the cooking class competition. The team must also be able to encourage participants so that other participants become cheerful and happy to participate in this event.

This training expects that we will be able to reduce existing deficiencies. The implementation of this briefing is also to make the staff on duty later become professional staff with the abilities and skills they have to give an excellent impression to the participants of the Cooking Class Competition.

Huationg Contractor Group Cooking Competition

Huationg Contractor Group is one of our customers who enjoy unique and challenging activities. The Master Chef Cooking Competition is a team-building activity currently popular in Bali. This activity provides a challenge for each team to make dishes according to the recipes of our Chef. Our customers came with 56 people using a Volkswagen car from the hotel to the event venue. This adds to the excitement of their outdoor agenda in Bali, which we have designed with excitement, fun, and togetherness.

Meanwhile, our partner Bali Group Organizer has arranged their journey from the hotel to the venue. Likewise, we held this cooking competition at a royal palace in Bongkasa. It is about 1 hour from their hotel.

Special Balinese Recipe Challenge

This time, we provided a special challenge for all participants. We led them to make authentic Balinese dishes. This made the participants curious about the ingredients and how to cook them. Of course, our chef was on standby to help and direct them.

This team-building activity has three phases: appetizer, main course, and dessert. The Bali Group Organizer had previously formed several small teams, making it easier for us to guide them in this activity. They were very enthusiastic about participating in every phase of this cooking competition.

This team-building activity was held at a royal palace in Bongkasa Village, Mengwi District, Badung Bali. All our personnel wore Balinese costumes to match the concept of the Royal Palace, where the event took place. It also gave a different and unique picture. Usually, our chefs wear the style of ordinary chefs, but this time, we were wearing Balinese clothes.

In addition, our hospitality in our customer service has made them very happy to participate in this outdoor activity.
